“Two brothers and their sister who were the targets of a nationwide FBI manhunt were captured about 10 a.m. this morning after crashing their car during a high-speed chase on Interstate 25 near Walsenburg. All three will be booked into Pueblo County Jail later this morning.
Ryan Edward Dougherty, 21, Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, and Lee Grace Dougherty, 29, were captured after a 30-minute highway chase where they reportedly fired shots at the pursuing Colorado State Patrol troopers. Investigators were searching the crashed vehicle for shell casings shortly after the crash.
The Doughertys are suspects in a bank robbery in Valdosta, Ga., on Aug. 2. The bandits in that robbery were armed with submachine guns and the trio are also suspected of shooting at a Florida police officer who tried to make a traffic stop that day….”
