Thanks, Rob Quark
Good God...as a Denver native and frequent visitor to the Aurora Mall in my youth, I am stunned this morning's shooting at the movie theater....but our intrepid interviewer, that bastion of reporting, KOAA's Rob 'Quarky' decided to drive 105 minutes to the scene of the crime to insert himself into the news feed....reporting how he had made the 105 minute trip yet 15 years ago to cover the Columbine Massacre and couldn't believe his good fortune at snagging a spot on the extended newscast and a room at the Greenwood Village Sleep Inn to report on the tragic events.
Great reporting, Rob. Glad you had the good fortune to have a job to put you in front of the camera at important events.
